No matter the season, enjoy some waves at Sahara Sam’s Oasis Indoor and Outdoor Water Park where it’s always 84 degrees! Take a spin down one of Sahara Sam’s premiere slides and rides, such as the Flow Rider indoor surfing simulator, Tut’s Twisters racing, and the Nile Mile, a super-fast 350-foot body slide. If you’re looking to take things a little slower, relax with one of the water park’s leisure pools and lazy rivers. Situated on 1,252 acres of protected land just 20 minutes from Haynes Run, Rancocas State Park provides more than 550 acres of developed recreational space for visitors to use. Explore several activities and opportunities in the area include biking and hiking trails, fishing and canoeing, and habitats consisting of freshwater tidal creeks. Balanced between the north and south branches of the Rancocas Creek, Rancocas State Park offers incredible vista views and wildlife sightings of white-tailed deer, gray squirrels, bald eagles, great blue herons, red-tailed hawks, and many more forest animals.

Founded in 1977, the Rancocas Nature Center provides environmental education to the surrounding community and visitors through on-site and traveling presentations to students, scouts, senior citizens, and the general public. The nature center is situated on 210 acres of the Rancocas State Park and includes three miles of hiking trails through the park’s meadows, forest, and marshland. Complete with a nature museum and seasonal events put on all year round, the Rancocas Nature Center is a great way to spend an afternoon.
